Assistant Coaches:
David Platt
David earned his Bachelor's of Art Degree from Puget Sound University in 1996, his California Secondary Teaching Credential in Technology/Business and German (foreign language) in 2002 and his Master's of Art Degree from Azusa Pacific University in 2004.
David has been a teacher at Covina High School since 2001, and served as the Head Swim Coach at CHS from 2004-2011.
David began as an assistant coach with the Covina Aquatics in the fall of 2009 and currently coaches the beginning and intermediate groups (ages 5-12). David also works with the high school summer swim team during the summer months.
Christine Dahlstrom/Maki
Christine began as an assistant coach with the Covina Aquatics in the fall of 2009 and currrently coaches the advanced/intermediate 12 and unders, as well as the intermediate "teen" group. She started the Master's program in the spring of 2010, and currently serves as the head coach.
In 2009-2010, Christine was the assistant coach with Covina High School.
Christine has served in various capacities in the Southern Pacific Masters Association and currently serves as the Coaches Representative in the organization.
Before coming to the Covina Aquatics, Christine served as an assistant age-group coach and the head Master's coach with The Claremont Club.
